Clay and Sew One Date: June 6-10, 2011 Ages: 10 and Older Cost: $300 Spend half of the day creating with clay. Dragons, owls, turtles, bowls, mugs, vases! The possibilities are endless in the ceramics studio! Learn the basics of hand building, including pinching, coiling, slabs, molds and sculptural techniques. Decorate your work using tools, stamps, colorful slips and underglazes. Sewing will make up the rest of the day. You will be proud of the fun and creative items you make while learning basic hand and machine sewing techniques. Always colorful fabrics and high quality materials. There will be time for a relaxing lunch on the farm and visits to the animals. Molly, the most friendly sheep in the world, is waiting for a treat!
