Your day will be divided between creating with clay and creating with the needle. Dragons, owls, turtles, bowls, mugs, vases! The possibilities are endless in the ceramics studio! Learn the basics of hand building, including pinching, coiling, slabs, molds and sculptural techniques and learn the basics of throwing on a potters wheel. Decorate your work using tools, stamps, colorful slips and underglazes. In the sewing studio, a quick review of the sewing machine will prepare you to create a beautiful jacket. You select your fabric and our fantastic sewing teacher, Sandy, will guide you through the process. Make your own fused glass buttons to finish your piece in high style. Lunch with friends and visits to the animals will complete the day!
