Drawing, painting, print making and clay! This will be a week of exploring many different artistic techniques. Dragons, owls, turtles, bowls, mugs, vases! The possibilities are endless in the ceramics studio! Learn the basics of hand building, including pinching, coiling, slabs, molds and sculptural techniques. Decorate your work using tools, stamps, colorful slips and underglazes. Our visiting artist, Mr. Roos, the art teacher at Tipton High School, will bring studio art techniques such as drawing, painting and print making to life. Learn everything from still life to scratch art! There will be time to make new friends and visit Molly, the ever friendly sheep.
